Recommend it for solo travelers

The location was prime! Just a short walk from the train station and right across from a beautiful park. I even got a personalized map from the staff pointing out the best spots for local cuisine and sightseeing, made my planning so much easier! Had some pretty good coffee bags in my room, not that instant stuff, a plus for me.

The lack of English instructions for the automatic toilet made it a trial-and-error process, which could frustrate non-Chinese speakers. The Beautiful Double Room felt cramped with only a queen bed instead of the expected two singles-definitely a tight squeeze for two travelers. It was oddly claustrophobic without windows, except in the toilet area, and the bathroom layout left much to be desired given the single mirror situation for personal grooming.

I liked staying at this boutique hotel because of the QUIET ambience. The location was handy within walking distance of the main station, close to a main station. Zhongzheng district was worth exploring.

The breakfast next door at 228 Peace Memorial Park had the best poached eggs and fresh local eats. Plus, the beds were super comfortable, and the fantastic shower had amazing pressure, leaving me refreshed. With various eateries like Dian Shui Lou and Tim Ho Wan just a stone's throw away, I was in foodie heaven!

You can't toss toilet paper into the toilet, but they've got a bidet, a plus. The bathroom layout has translucent glass doors for the toilet area-definitely a conversation starter! It didn't bother me, but I get why some folks might prefer a solid wall. The sink is in the room, efficient but lacks a place for toiletries while bathing. Still, for the price, this place is a steal!

The location was really good, as I could reach various transport options easily. I appreciated the spacious, clean room with a quiet place to relax after a long day. The air conditioning unit worked flawlessly. The view of the city added a nice touch to the ambiance.
